Members Area & On-Line Bookings
To access the Members area at the bottom of the page, use the shortened christian name of the Club Secretary (lower case) as the User Name, and the year the Club was founded as the Password. This area includes membership application forms, subscription details and sections of the 2010 Year Book (including the programme but not the address section).
Many thanks to those of you who are using the on-line booking system (access via the "Social" menu above) for meals/Club events & WightLink tickets. If you click on the link you will get a simple form; when you "submit" it you will then get a confirmation link from Bravenet (ignore the adverts!) - just click "confirm" at the bottom of the page and it will end up at the office.
For those who prefer to use Red Funnel (Southampton - Cowes or Cowes - Southampton), there is a 10% discount if you access the Red Funnel on-line booking system through the "Red Funnel" link you will find under the "Links" menu above. So long as you use the BSC website link, the 10% reduction is automatically applied to the fares (each way) you will be offered.

It is with very great sadness that I have to inform you that Pam Crowder died after a long illness on Wednesday evening (27th January) in the Elms Nursing Home. She was 80 and had been a member of the Club for 30 years.
Her funeral will be 2pm on Friday 5th of February at Holy Trinity Church, Bembridge.
Nice to see the IW Decorative Arts Society here for their new year "workshop" on Thursday. A busy Sunday lunch with the Ryde Lions enjoying their Anniversary lunch in the Dining Room, while 30 + members again enjoyed their lunch in the Club Room.
Excellent weather over the weekend which made for some excellent sailing for the annual Illusion Match Racing Championships. Well done to Edmund Peel even if he was beated 3-0 in the finals by a very on form Graham Sunderland. Finally well done to young Robert Owen who single handed looked after the 7 non-match racing Illusions who were fleet racing on Sunday morning. A great effort.
